Alana De La Garza was born in 1976 to her Mexican-American father as well as an Irish-American mother. She has been a famous actress on TV. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress for TV from the Imagen Foundation Awards as well as several ALMA Award nominations. In 2008 she took home the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a reprise role in CSI Miami a few moments further. She played Marisol Deko, as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. In the role of the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was last seen on NBC's rather dark drama Do No Harm. It was eventually cancelled after just two episodes.
