Anoushka Shankar

Anoushka Shankar is a Brit-American sitar player and music artist. She was among the youngest and first woman to receive an award from the British House of Commons Shield she's received 9 Grammy Awards nominations and was the first artist of Indian origin to play live and to serve as a presenter at the awards ceremony. Anoushka Shakar, who is just a emerging star on the Indian Sitar is Anoushka. She is a student as well as child of Ravi Shankar. She was born in 1982 in London. Her childhood years were split between London and New Delhi. In New Delhi, she made her debut at just thirteen years old.
